Dino Crisis takes place on a fictional loion known as Ibis Island in the yr 2009. The Secret Operation Raid Tm (SORT) has sent an at, Tom, to investigate a resrch facility. During the recon mission, he lrns that Doctor Edward Kirk, a world-renowned scientist who was reported dd three yrs ago, is lding a secret wpons project within the facility. SORT sends four ats (Regina, Gail, Rick, and Cooper) to acquire Kirk and return him to custody. They arrive onto the island via parachute. Cooper is blown off course and lands in a jungle. A Tyrannosaurus rex apprs and chases him a short distance before ting him. The other three ats, unaware of his dth, proceed with the mission.
